Recently, our design team had the privilege of working with a client from Armenia to create the packaging for their sanitary pad brand, Noah'sGrace. The journey was filled with creativity, collaboration, and a deep dive into Armenian culture to meet the client's specific preferences and requirements.

1.Initial Logo Design

The project commenced with the design of the brand logo. Our first draft, as shown in the first - attached image, was a logo that combined the brand name "Noah'sGrace" with intricate Armenian - inspired patterns. The logo was encircled by a decorative ring featuring traditional geometric designs, and a stylized representation of a flower, symbolizing grace and femininity, was integrated into the text. However, upon review, the client felt that this design was a bit too complex. They were looking for a more minimalist approach that still retained the essence of Armenian culture.

2.Refined Logo

In response to the client's feedback, we simplified the logo. The second - draft logo, depicted in the second - attached image, maintained the flower element but removed the outer decorative ring. The brand name "Noah'sGrace" was presented in a clean, elegant font, with the flower subtly incorporated into the "s" in "Noah's". This minimalist design struck the right chord with the client, and they approved it, allowing us to move forward with the packaging design.

3.First Packaging Concepts

With the approved logo in hand, we developed the first packaging concepts. The third - attached image showcases one of the initial packaging designs. We aimed to incorporate elements that were both culturally significant to Armenia and appealing for a sanitary pad product. The packaging featured the approved logo prominently at the top. We included an illustration of a traditional Armenian dancer, which added a dynamic and cultural touch. The background was a soft blue, representing the Armenian sky and tranquility. Additionally, we added simple line drawings of Armenian landscapes, such as mountains and lakes, to connect with the natural beauty of the country. Product information was clearly laid out in both English and Armenian, the official language of Armenia.

4.Finalizing the Packaging

Despite the positive aspects of the third design, the client expressed a strong preference for the color green. They felt that green was more in line with their vision of a fresh, natural, and healthy product. Taking this into account, we created the fourth - attached image. This final design maintained the key elements of the previous concepts, such as the logo and the traditional Armenian dancer illustration. However, we changed the background color to a soothing light green, which not only met the client's color preference but also enhanced the overall natural and fresh feel of the packaging. The depiction of Armenian landscapes, including mountains and a lake, was adjusted to complement the green background. The product details, including features like absorbency and comfort, were still presented in both English and Armenian, ensuring clarity for the target market.

After careful consideration, the client finally settled on the fourth design as the final version for their Noah'sGrace sanitary pad packaging. This project was a great success, demonstrating our ability to understand and translate a client's vision into a visually appealing and culturally resonant design. It also highlighted the importance of effective communication and iterative design in meeting client expectations.
