When the Singaporean pet brand urish & Co. approached us, hoping to create a brand - new octagonal sealed bag packaging for its pet snacks, a creative journey centered around the brand's characteristics and market demands officially began.

I. Demand Insight and Style Definition

Upon receiving the request, we first conducted an in - depth study of the urish & Co. brand. As a pet snack brand, it was necessary to convey the care for pets and the high - quality nature of the products through the packaging. The client required rich and diverse layouts, a simple background without Chinese, and an octagonal sealed bag type. Meanwhile, by referring to existing brand elements, such as cute pet images and the use of vivid colors, we defined the design style as “Fun Cute Pets + Simple Vision + Clear Information”. It was necessary to not only maintain brand recognition but also quickly catch consumers' eyes on the shelves.

II. Creative Conception and Element Polishing

(I) Image Creation

With pets as the core, we created exclusive cute pet illustrations. Combining with the brand temperament of urish & Co., we designed a playful puppy image, presenting it in an interactive posture of “peeking out of the bag mouth”, as if passionately recommending snacks to pet owners, instantly narrowing the distance from consumers. Paired with small patterns of the snack itself, such as bone shapes and star shapes, it directly showcases the types of snacks and enriches the visual hierarchy.

(II) Color and Layout

We selected a stable and textured main color to create a reliable atmosphere. The brand name “urish & Co.” was enlarged and highlighted, using an eye - catching font to ensure clarity even from a distance. Around the brand name, product information was arranged in an orderly manner, such as the flavor description “Beef Flavor” and nutritional component labels (calorie, protein proportion, etc.). Different font sizes and styles were used to distinguish levels. Thanks to the simple background (solid color base), the information was not cluttered, achieving “diverse yet orderly”.

III. Detail Optimization and Implementation

After the initial draft was completed, we focused on polishing the details. The color saturation of the cute pet illustrations was adjusted to make the pet images more vivid and the fur more textured; the font spacing was optimized to ensure smooth reading; the adaptability of the octagonal sealed structure was checked, and the sealing and opening scenarios were simulated to ensure the practicality of the packaging. Meanwhile, we communicated with the client repeatedly, making minor adjustments to the element positions and color shades according to feedback. This allowed the packaging to perfectly transform from a creative draft to a physical bag, conforming to the brand positioning and meeting the market - side demands of attracting consumers and conveying product value.
